The Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA) announced that the next CIECA Webinar will be held on Thursday, November 21 at 11 am PST/1 pm CST/2 pm EST: “Vehicle Data and Privacy: A Balancing Act.” The one-hour live broadcast will feature Adonne Washington, mobility, location & data policy counsel at the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF).
“In today’s interconnected world, vehicles are becoming increasingly sophisticated, generating vast amounts of data,” said Washington. “This data, ranging from location and speed to driver behavior and vehicle health, offers benefits, such as improved safety, efficiency, and personalization. However, the collection and use of such data can also raise significant privacy concerns.”
Washington will address the opportunities and concerns during her presentation.
With four years of experience dedicated to the privacy and technology space, Washington’s current role at FPF applies her knowledge of various technologies to a more specific sector: mobility and location. As the mobility, location & data policy counsel, she provides scholarship, guidance, and analysis for various policy and privacy issues related to emerging technologies.
All collision industry stakeholders, including CIECA members and non-members, are invited to attend the presentation.
