BRIEF
THE NATIONAL MOTOR VEHICLE TITLE INFORMATION SYSTEM (NMVTIS) IS DESIGNED TO PROTECT CONSUMERS FROM FRAUD AND UNSAFE VEHICLES AND TO KEEP STOLEN VEHICLES FROM BEING RESOLD. IT IS ALSO USED BY STATES AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TO DETER AND PREVENT TITLE FRAUD AND OTHER CRIMES.
KEY FEATURES
- URG Members can use the NMVTIS Program to assist businesses in processing and recycling their used vehicles
- Automatically report your vehicles to NMVTIS, which runs automatically in the background, and take the hassle out of reporting salvage titles (Pinnacle Pro only)
- Cars that would normally be a liability are turned into assets by selling them to auto parts recyclers for reuse prior to being scrapped
