THE GOLD STANDARD PARTS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO SELL THE AUTO PARTS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE CRUSHED TO BE SOLD FOR ONLY PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR.
GOLD STANDARD MAINTAINS A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED, UNPARALLELED CERTIFICATION PROCESS AND WORKS DIRECTLY WITH INSURERS, COLLISION CENTERS AND CONSOLIDATORS. SO, WHEN YOU PARTNER WITH GOLD STANDARD, YOUR PARTS CAN REACH A MUCH LARGER AUDIENCE.
THE PROCESS
- All parts are selected through an Auto Industry estimating platform by insurance companies, collision centers and consolidators (MSO).
- The parts are ordered by phone or electronically.
- Gold Standard always uses the VIN and option codes to ensure correct part selection every time.
- Parts are then sourced through URG Members enrolled in the Gold Standard Program.
- All orders are processed through Gold Standard directly. URG Members and Gold Standard each have established "gate keepers" already in place to streamline the parts ordering and management process.
- Parts are drop-shipped (or freighted) throughout the country.
- The Gold Standard invoice is itemized for the repairer, collision center or MSO reconcilliation.
- Every has a Certification Statement that accompanies the invoice for the repairer's files and for the customer.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
MEMBERS
• Have “insurance quality” parts that follow a STRICT inspection process and meet the following requirements:
– degrease and power wash all parts
– axles must be drained of fluid
– lights must not have broken tabs and must be cleaned and buffed
– must be able to press hub and bearings off spindle/knuckles
• Be willing to ship throughout the country
• Open a wholesale account for Gold Standard
• Provide a “gatekeeper” within your organization to be the assigned contact for Gold Standard
BACKGROUND
Gold Standard Certified Parts was established in 2017 for the purpose of creating a nationally recognized certification laboratory. Gold Standard is dedicated to providing quality certified reprocessed OEM automotive parts that are superior to anyone else in the industry. Each part passes a proprietary inspection and certification process to ensure it meets the same fit, finish and functionality of an OEM part.
